The HCCI provides an opportunity to its members to involve in business activities and meet government officials, federal and provincial ministers, ambassadors and leading businessmen both local and internationally.

The HCCI members can get Certificates of Origin and other shipping and commercial documents which are endorsed only by the Chamber.

The HCCI provides an intensive business information service and direct consultancy on several investment and trade issues.

The chamber actively monitors and pursue issues concerning trade, foreign investment regulations, tourism, taxation, and infrastructure requirements etc.

The HCCI regularly arranges international trade delegations which provide opportunities to the delegates to meet their foreign counterparts.

HCCI members get regularly notices on business opportunities, importers/exporters, tender notices, etc.

Membership Requirement

The proposed member is a sole proprietorship or a partnership firm or an association of persons or a company holding national tax number and sales tax registration, if applicable, in the name of the business concern.
The proposed member’s business fits within the defined business scope or area of jurisdiction of District Hunza as provided in the memorandum and articles of association of HCCI.

The application for grant of membership shell be proposed and seconded by existing members of the HCCI.
The prospective member has no criminal conviction.

Membership may be cancelled or disqualified, on the grounds provided under the memorandum and articles of association, and if the member breaches any provision of the Trade Organization Ordinance.

The membership shall be renewable on annual basis subject to fulfillment of membership terms and conditions and annual fee payments.

The following documents are necessary for grant of membership in HCCI.

Proprietorship:

Written application on firm’s letterhead addressed to secretary general HCCI for grant of membership.

N.T.N. Certificate from Income Tax Deptt. (Photostat Copy)
National Identity Card of the Proprietor (Photostat Copy)
Bank Certificate (Photostat Copy)
Passport Size Photo Graphs 2 Nos

Partnership Business:

A written application on firm/company’s letterhead addressed to Secretary General HCCI for grant of membership.

N.T.N. Certificate from Income Tax Deptt. (Photostat Copy)
National Identity Card of the Managing Partner (Photostat Copy)
Partnership Deed (Attested Photostat Copy)
Form “C” From Registrar of Firm (Photostat Copy)
Bank Certificate (Photostat Copy)

Private Limited or Limited Company:

A written application on company’s letterhead addressed to the Secretary General HCCI for grant of membership.
